Ali Edwards shared this quote from Amy Pohler with us on the One Little Word class. Isn’t it beautiful and oh so true?!
Leave a comment...Great people do things before they’re ready. They do things before they know they can do it…Doing what you’re afraid of, getting out of your comfort zone, taking risks like that — that is what life is. You might be really good. You might find out something about yourself that’s really special and if you’re not good, who cares? You tried something. Now you know something about yourself.

This video is totally worth watching.
There is too much of comparison and idealizing how we should look like and what we should do, wear, what we should be saying…
There are too many worries about what people say or think about us. I believe that people sometimes forget that each of us is unique and beautiful in our own way and they should accept it without criticizing.
I don’t usually wear makeup on the weekends and honestly, I absolutely don’t care what people think about me. If I “fit” into the “correct” woman look. It’s me and my way and that’s totally ok with me.

And don’t forget: everyone is beautiful.

Another weekly post is up on our collaborative blog. I’m so loving reading Harmony’s thoughts accompanying her photos. It gives totally different meaning to them.
It’s already Thursday!

Leave a comment...Remember, even if we fail to reach our ultimate, desired destination right away, we will have made progress along the road that will lead to it. And that matters – it means a lot. Even though we might fall short of our finish line, just continuing the journey will make us greater than we were before.

One of the goals for my personal thriving this year is to live more creatively. I used to do several scrapbook pages per month and I so enjoyed the whole process of starting with a blank page and finishing with a piece of memory captured in a creative way. Unfortunately working full-time takes its toll on my free time and I have to prioritize things a lot now.
I’ve always loved scripts and typography. I was sad when I found out that Kal Barteski’s Script School was closed last year as I love her style so much (we have one of her posters in our living room). But to my joy she is offering her class at Studio Calico now! I can’t wait to get my supplies and start this class in February!

Do you have any plans for living more creatively this year? If yes, please share, there is never enough inspiration out there.
