March.
This imperfect photo is sadly the only photo of the whole family together taken in March. And yes, it was taken today, March 31st; just a few minutes before kids bedtime when the whole family got finally together for the first time today (even though only for a few minutes).
Ivo got home with Patrik from his cycling practice, we snapped the photo and then he left for his swimming workout just 2 minutes after this. This is how we roll every Monday and starting tomorrow, it’s going to be every Tuesday and Thursday.
I’m glad that both kids love to be active and enjoy sports as their parents do but sometimes it just feels overwhelming. Next month I will make sure to take my photo during the month and not 3.5 hours before the month is over… For the month of March, this one will do. It’s a capture of our busy life and no matter how imperfect the photo is, I still treasure it.
You can see our January and February here.

I can’t believe that we are almost saying good-bye to March already! What a hectic month it has been!
We celebrated my B-day.
We did a lot of cooking and baking as a family and spent a lot of dad-son and mom-daughter times together. Kids had sleepovers during their March break.
Patrik attended several cycling races. He and I went for a ride together and I couldn’t believe how fast he’s become! He totally kicked my butt after 28km long ride when he sprinted up the big hill to our house and was waiting in front of our garage for me to finally finish.
Katrin continues doing a lot of crafts.
Ivo and kids went skiing the other day while I was at work.
Ivo continues with his training and I’m regularly going to yoga. Definitely working on my thrive word.
A lot is going on at the same time but this is how we rule. Kids are going back to school after 2 weeks of March break and all of us are so looking forward to some sunny warmer days.

I’m glad I’m picking my camera up more often lately and documenting our everyday life again.
We had good times in March. April we are ready for you!

Friends pick us up
when we fall down,
and if they can’t
pick us up,
they lie down and
listen for a while.
I remember the day when I met Harmony. It was around 6 am and both of us were standing in a line in front of a local school to register our little ones for kindergarten. It was quite cold and still dark outside. We talked the whole time while waiting and we found out that we have a lot of things in common. We became friends very quickly.
We supported each other during our runs together,

made plans for running a half marathon together (which unfortunately we didn’t at the end due to Harmony’s health issues at that time. But I still have her congratulation text message saved on my cell phone after my finish),

we spent a Thanksgiving together,

went for photo walks in downtown Vancouver during our lunch breaks,

spent hours and hours on daily commute together (and oh my, did we have a lot of fun so many times).

We do coffee dates.
She is one of the most creative persons I’ve ever met. She taught me how to knit. She makes special handmade gifts.
She is so caring, loyal and always ready to be there when needed.
She loves purple.
Harmony and I started a blog together where we capture motherhood through the lens.

She definitely lives up to her name. When you are with her, you are in a harmony.
I just love her! She is my very dear friend.
I am so looking forward to spend more amazing moments and create endless memories with her.
She will always have a special place in my heart.

Happy Sunday sunny morning, everyone! Even though the roofs are white and there is fog outside, the sun is shining through and it calls for a beautiful day. It seems there are quite a few rainy days ahead so we will definitely enjoy today outside.
I had problems with signing to my blog this week due to some wordpress issues but it’s fixed now so I can blog once again. I came across a lot of inspiration this week and here are a few of my favorites:
:: simple green smoothies are going to host a 30-day green smoothie challenge in April. I would love to start making more smoothies so this seems like a perfect way to start.
:: I got my stuff for a wrap bracelet on Friday. I’ve seen several bracelets online in the stores but boy, are they expensive. So I’ve decided to give it a try and make my own. I’ve created a board on my pinterest called wrap bracelets and now I have to find out the easiest tutorial.

:: why being a mom is enough post by Rachel at finding joy
:: these project life cards by Karla Dudley. After my craft space reorganization last week, I think I’m ready to get back to my PL now.

:: adding this yoga bolster to my wish list. We used them in yoga class every week and they are amazing! My lower back always thanks me for the stretch.

The coffee is almost ready. Have a wonderful day!

Chaos is the theme of the week over at Focus on Everyday. Hop over to see what Harmony and Krystal came up with.
This looks pretty scary, doesn’t it?!

I have been planning to organize my craft/ office space stuff for way too long. Sunday was the day when I finally decided to dig through it. I took all the stuff from the baskets and boxes out and spread them all over the floor. The space was pretty chaotic for 2+hours at least. I put scrapbook papers together, ribbons and buttons and scraps of papers which can be still used in the albums. It was definitely worth the effort to sort everything out at the end.

It took me much longer to organize and sort out all the stuff than I expected but I’m glad that I finally did it. I found a lot of stuff that I’ve already forgotten about. I think I might be finally ready to jump into my project life album once again.

I put all the cards for project life together (from Midnight and Seafoam collection and some printed ones I bought as digital files). Also all the buttons and rings are sorted out now thanks to my little helper. Miss K did a great job and yay for jars from a pizza sauce. Even though the jars are hidden in the baskets, it will be much easier to locate the stuff now.

It feels good to have it finally done. I feel like new crafts and projects are on the way! Let’s the creativity begin.

I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already! It means a new prompt is up on Focus on Everyday blog. Starting this week, a new contributor, Krystal, has joined us to share her inspirational photos. The more, the merrier, right?! I was really excited to see her take on the theme this morning.
When I saw the prompt Harmony chose for this week – 6o’clock, first I had no idea what kind of photo to take. I thought I will do my morning workout photo but as I skipped the last few days of morning workouts, I knew it has to be about 6pm. Monday was a perfect day for taking photos – I got home from work and the sun was still up and shining! I took a few photos with Katrin as you could see in my last post – one on one.
Go and check out what Harmony and Krystal came up with!
If you like taking photos and would be interested in joining us over at Focus on Everyday for our weekly prompts as a regular contributor or just a guest contributor, please don’t hesitate to contact me (through the Hello | Contact me tab on the top of this page) or Harmony for more details.
