My very good friend Harmony is incredibly talented and creative woman. I think she must be born with crochet hook and needles in her hands. Her handmade projects are beautiful and so precisely done, she leaves me in awe all the time. Harmony has recently opened her own Etsy shop called Creating Harmoniously and filled it with many beautiful handmade products.
You can find different styles of headbands there.

I have my very own headband made by Harmony as well. I’ve never been a girly girl so I decided to go for a brown one first to sort of get used to having something in my hair and to be able to match it with any color of my clothes.

In her shop Harmony also sells bracelets,

and beautiful scarves

hats, belts and handmade notecards

There is something for everyone! If you like receiving or gifting handmade products which are high quality and made by love, I definitely recommend you to explore Harmony’s shop.
You won’t be disappointed.

My race is getting closer and that means that I have to pull long training rides over 100km on the weekends. During these rides I’ve learned so much about myself:
that I can dig deeper than I would ever imagine,
that I’m much stronger than I’ve thought, and
that pain is temporally but pride is forever.
This post is a part of this week’s strength theme over at Focus on Everyday blog.

HELLO, SUMMER!
I’m so happy you are here with your long and warm days ahead…
… with lots of sunshine and visits to local parks and lakes

… with reading…

and drinking coffee outside…

… lots of exploring…

and silliness and goofiness …

… and dedication to pursue our dreams…

but the most importantly with lots and lots of time spent together as a family.
Welcome, summer!
We are so happy to have you.

Even though this little online corner of mine has been quite neglected for the last couple of days/weeks, it doesn’t mean that our everyday life is boring and that there is nothing to say about it. It’s the opposite.
Our days are full of fun, laughter, exercising and just spending time as a family together. Kids are out of school due to the teachers’ strike so the little ones are having extra two weeks of summer fun.
There are only 4 weeks left till my, Ivos’ and Patrik’s bike race/ride and 5 weeks until Ivo’s Ironman. Then things will finally slow down a little bit. It’s quite hectic over here lately but I wouldn’t change it at all.
This is how we live. And we are saying YES to life.

Both kids love to spin on this “spinning wheel” at the playground. Their legs always hang in the air and they giggle and laugh and just enjoy being kids. I bet in a few years they won’t remember what they got for a certain Birthday but they will definitely remember all those joyful moments spent going around and around and having fun together.
